
Golf Scramble – October 13
If you are arriving the day prior to the conference and are wondering what you can do, have no fear. You can join us for fun afternoon on the golf course at River Oaks Golf Club. Plan to meet at the club house no later than 11:00 am. Tee time is expected to be approximately 1 PM. If interested, please indicate during the registration and you will be contacted and provided more details.
Day 1 – October 14
Today’s class covers understanding large equipment fires. Enjoy a presentation by Pro-G Fire Consulting discussing semi-trucks, farm equipment, construction equipment and reefer units. This will cover potential problems and causes of thermal events. Will touch on 921 and safety when doing investigations..


Day 2 – October 15
Today’s class will focus on live burn demonstrations. Enjoy a fun filled day with FireTech and learn what to look for, how to better understand the story within the fire scene, and what “red flags” that may be present. You will also learn about gathering background on fire scene investigations, the public & private relationship, insurance investigations, along with subrogation and legal considerations.
Day 3 – October 16
In today’s morning classes we will hear from the National Insurance Crime Bureau to learn what capabilities this organization brings to the table and how they can assist with our investigations. We will also be hearing about ethics and how to maintain integrity during our investigations. In the afternoon, Hamers Engineering will present on agricultural equipment fires.
