Who was Lonnie Buie?
Lonnie Buie was an Arkansas native, and began working at young age along-side his father, an electrician in the community of Prescott. Lonnie used this background and experience to build a long career in the field of electrical engineering through his studies at the University of Arkansas at both Magnolia and Fayetteville. He later formed his own consulting firm, specializing in the field of fire investigation and forensic electrical engineering, ultimately analyzing and investigating over 3,750 fire scenes and accidents in twenty-nine states. He embodied the qualities of those expected in his field, and was revered by those in the legal profession and insurance industry. Through diligence, expertise and integrity, he earned the reputation as being the best in the business. For those who worked with Lonnie, we will always remember his work ethic, expertise, and of course, the celebratory lighting of a cigar at the end of each scene investigation.
